Travellers on their way to the great Appleby Horse Fair in Cumbria. We include on the road shots of the beautiful horses and wagons as well as aerial shots as they wend their way through the Dales, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. On arrival in Appleby we film the traditional washing of horses in the river Eden, flashing of the horses in the lane, the fair and of course the Romany, Gypsy, Traveller community enjoying the fruits of their annual pilgrimage!
